It all began with a Fish.
We met on Plenty of Fish. No, it’s not a seafood restaurant. It’s an online dating app.
It was in September of 2017 when we met on the POF dating app and had our first conversation. We probably would’ve never met, much less fallen in love, if not for God orchestrating the events that followed because before we even had the chance to meet in person, I (My) decided to delete my account.
So what happened??

We’re both Keanu Reeves fans—and our most favorite KR movie of all time is 47 Ronin (our daughters are most likely rolling their eyes right now 🙄, but we don’t care 😜).
We haven’t traveled outside of the US together (not yet anyway).
We both love horror movies.
We have our very own secret fist bump. 👊
We both nearly drowned when we were younger.

Before I met Bernie, The 3 Bs of my life were Babyface, Brian McKnight and Boyz II Men. Now, I have The 4 Bs and Bernie’s comin’ in 🔥HOT🔥 at No.1. ❤️

I don’t care what everybody else says, Robotech was the best anime ever!
I used to spin vinyl on the 1s and 2s (turntables).
One time in 6th grade, I tooted 💨 in class. The girl in front of me turned around and glared at me and my response to her was 🤫 “shhh…”
I once woke up naked in the desert with donkeys walking around me.
To be a landscape architect was my childhood aspiration.
