FAQs
Is there a dress code for your wedding?
The dress code for the wedding is Garden Formal. Check out our Journal for more details on this.
Are children welcome?
We wish we could include all children, but are unfortunately only able to invite children in our immediate family to the wedding ceremony and reception. The Afterparty is a strictly Adults Only affair though.
Does your wedding have a theme?
We have an official wedding palette and the main colors are Wisteria lavender and Celadon green. Check out our Journal for more details on this.
Will there be vegan/vegetarian/gluten-free food options?
When you RSVP, please inform us of any dietary restrictions. That way, we can let our caterer know well in advance and can prepare something for you. We’ll do our best to accommodate your request for a vegan/vegetarian/gluten-free option.
Can I take and post pictures of the wedding on social media?
We want you to be fully present with us during our ceremony. This is why we’ve decided to have it completely “unplugged”, which means no cameras, cell phones or other electronic devices until after the ceremony. So thank you so much in advance for your understanding and cooperation. Having said that… Yes, we encourage guests to post pictures on their social media channels after the ceremony. Our only request is that you tag each photo with our official wedding hashtag #MySaidYEStrada so we can keep track of all of your pictures. Also, don’t forget to download our official photo and video sharing app here. Check out our Journal for more details on this.
What will the weather be like this time of year?
It’s usually warm during the day but it might be cold at night so bring a light jacket to keep you warm during the reception and afterparty.
Will the ceremony and reception be indoors or outdoors?
The ceremony and reception will both be outdoors. Although the reception will be under a tent.
WHAT IS THE NEAREST AIRPORT TO THE WEDDING VENUE?
Ontario International Airport (ONT) is about 1 hour 10 minutes away (61.4 miles via I-15 S) from Lake Oak Meadows Winery, while San Diego International Airport (SAN) is 1 hour 18 minutes. (70 miles via I-15 N). Click here for a quick view of the map and directions.
What happens after the ceremony?
A cocktail hour immediately follows the ceremony. The reception dinner starts at 6:30 PM. We will conclude the evening with an Afterparty at 10 PM at our home in Temecula.
What time should I arrive?
We recommend that you arrive half an hour before the start of the ceremony, to make sure everyone is on time and we can get the party started as scheduled.
Where should guests park? Is parking free?
There will be a parking space dedicated solely to our wedding guests. And yes, it’s free. Click here for a quick view of the map and parking directions.
Can I bring a date?
We have a strict guest list to stay on budget. Our wedding is strictly RSVP only. We will only be able to accommodate those listed on your invitation.
Do you have a hotel block for guests? Where do you recommend I stay?
Unfortunately, we weren’t able to secure a wedding block but there is a nearby Bed & Breakfast that’s only less than 6 miles away from the wedding venue. There will only be a limited number of rooms. So if you need to reserve a room, we highly recommend doing that ASAP. For more options, view our best recommendations here.
When is the RSVP deadline? Do I need to mail back my RSVP or can I do it online?
We strongly encourage you to RSVP as soon as you possibly can. Otherwise, you have until February 5th, 2022 to RSVP. You can mail back the RSVP card to us (our mailing address should be on the invitation), or you can also RSVP here on the website.
Where are you registered?
We’re registered at Zola. Check out our Registry page for details.
Can I change my outfit for the afterparty?
Absolutely! In fact, we encourage you to get your party-mode on and change into your best Afterparty outfit.
What if i get drunk at the afterparty?
We definitely don’t want you to drink and drive. We want you to have a great time and party with us without reservation or apology. So in the (likely) event that you get drunk as a skunk, no worries! We’ve made advance arrangements for transportation to safely take you back to your hotel/house. Check out our Journal for more details on this.
