Best MAN

Jay Bunch

After moving to a new house in French Valley, California, I walked over to my new neighbor’s house, with beer in hand to say hello and introduce myself. A few beers later, his wife Kim found us grappling/wrestling on his garage floor. That was the start of an eleven year long friendship—Jay and I have been best friends since.

I’m grateful for Jay for introducing me to Christ, for taking my girls and me on camping adventures, weekend ping pong tournaments, mountain biking, and his genuine companionship.

I chose Jay to be my Best Man because he only saw the real man that I am right from the start. There I was… a tattooed single man with two very young daughters in tow, who would walk over to his house—across his front yard, tripping over and breaking his sprinklers in the process—yet he and his family whole heartedly, without judgment, welcomed us into their lives and home.

I deeply value Jay’s friendship and always look forward to new adventures with him.
